Tuscaloosa-area homes for sale rise to 0,950 median price

A typical Tuscaloosa County home was listed for $320,950 in June, up 2.1% from the previous month’s $314,400, an analysis of data from Realtor.com shows.

The median list home price in June was up about 9.6% from June 2021. Tuscaloosa County’s median home was 2,067 square feet for a listed price of $154 per square foot.

The Tuscaloosa County market was busy, with a median of 35 days on market. A month earlier, homes had a median of 35 days on market. The market added 444 new home listings in June, compared with the 372 added in June 2021. The market ended the month with some 449 listings of homes for sale.
