We Do Fine Home

Ronald McDonald House Christmas Fantasy House is ex-UWM Alumni House

The former University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Alumni House, which just served as the Breast Cancer Showhouse, will also serve as the Christmas Fantasy House. It's now a private home.

If at any time there was a house that lent alone to Xmas decorations, it’s the previous UWM Alumni House, located on a bluff overlooking Lake Michigan, just north of Lake Park and Lincoln Memorial Generate.

Now owned by entrepreneur and philanthropist Andy Nunemaker, the 25,000-square-foot single-family dwelling has 10 fireplaces that would be excellent for garland and candles. Three flooring are loaded with rooms significant adequate to accommodate large Xmas trees, and the home’s exterior and roofline would seem stunning decorated with getaway lights.

And it’s this year’s Xmas Fantasy Home a fundraising celebration for Ronald McDonald Residence Charities of Jap Wisconsin, which provides a location to stay and assistance for households even though their youngsters are handled for really serious health problems.

Nikki Bruneau, media coordinator, said the occasion will run from Oct. 29 to Nov. 6 but will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 2.
