Ah, there is just something special about a foyer. I know it may seem silly, but a lot of homes and apartments don’t have designated foyer spaces. One of my home dreams has always been to have a center hall colonial with a nice sized foyer! Think about the McCallisters’ awesome house from Home Alone. Total home goals! Imagine it decorated for 2022. A true dream! Ok, now back to the taste at hand, a colorful foyer style plan that I’m ready to see come to life!
COLORFUL FOYER STYLE PLAN:
I started out the plan with my favorite pattern from Cathy Lancaster! Isn’t it a beauty! It’s a mix of all of my favorite colors! No need to add artwork and cover up all of those beautiful walls.
I would simply add a mirror, like this chic grasscloth octagon mirror. It will help us add some texture, pattern, and color that will reflect that beautiful wallpaper all over!
Continuing with adding texture I would add this raffia console table that comes in a rainbow array of colors!
Then we can layer up that console table with a yellow lucite tray and a pair of lamps that pick up one of the shades of blue in the wallpaper.
For the bottom shelf, I added a jute basket for storage and a pairing of my favorite ginger jars from Lauren Haskell.
The finishing touch is this chic scalloped jute rug with a pink border to tie everything all together!
