Botanical Wallpaper Murals
Picking your Botanical Wallpaper for the year 2020 is a much easier task than you’d imagine. We’re going to be showcasing some of our top botanical inspired wallpaper styles that will help transform your walls into a refreshing nature sanctuary. Botanical wallpapers are any sort of style implementing foliage, plant life, or nature. The color palettes are often influenced by the ever-changing landscape with the pastel promise of early spring and the sparkling pulse of summer hues, as well as the autumnal shades of falling leaves and fresh, dark colors of frosted winter, the garden offers a multitude of palettes to match a wide variety of indoor types and climates. Botanical styles will be in as long as there is a love for nature and greenery created on Earth.
Cole and Son Wallpaper
Influential design house Cole And Son is known for their creative and imaginative wallpapers. Below we have two of our favorite botanical styles from their Ardmore collection. The Ardmore collection is a colorful array of jungle inspired styles that feel culturally stylish. Cole and Son have introduced a lot of new techniques into their process over the years. It includes the resurgence of pan-coating machines and flocking, the latter being a method employed in the 17th century to give the cloth a texture comparable to velvet. A big part of what makes Cole and Son so special is this commitment to being at the forefront of new ideas and strategies, so you can get your own inspiration from their past through their archival collections. These include reprints of some of their most popular 18th, 19th, and early 20th-century wallpaper styles.
On the left we have the Acacia wallcovering. The design features acacia leaves and festive blooms in soft water-color greens and blues with chimps sitting perched atop their branches. In the right side photo we have two different Cole and Son Wallpaper styles being utilized, Khulu Vases on the top half of the wall provide an unconventionally botanical style, the geometric shape of the pottery with assorted foliage displayed on them feels unique and fresh. On the bottom half of the walls we have the Narina wallpaper that can appear as leaves or even parrot feathers. The collection highlights the extraordinary variety and natural charm of the garden by capturing much-loved blooms like the headily perfumed perennials Lilac and Wisteria, the exotic beauties Sweet Pea, Bluebell and Ivy, and the exquisite foliage of Fern and Maidenhair.
Osborne and Little Wallpaper
Another leader in wallpaper design, Osborne and Little Wallpaper, provides equally gorgeous botanical wallpaper styles for the year 2020. In particular we’re a fan of these two diverse styles. Some styles from the Folium collection, Folium is the latin word for leaf. A series of colorful wallpapers with a contemporary botanical theme involves spectacular large-scale digital prints and matching designs on a smaller scale, all printed on the easy-to-hang, non-woven basis aside from the grove garden printed on a paper foundation.
For those seeking a more whimsical wallpaper with a botanical look, the wallpaper on the left, Animal Glade, is a visually rich mural style that features an assortment of nature and animals. If you look closely you can see so much motifs and details atop mostly charcoal with splashes of color. On the right we have the much more traditionally botanical style Green Wall that creates the illusion of having a wall look like the bountiful display of a green house. With so many styles it can feel overwhelming narrowing it down to the perfect choice. Luckily we’ve implemented a feature to shop by style for wallpaper.
